Detailed Description
Easy going, friendly social person wanted! I have one room available from Dec 9 (can be available earlier by arrangement) in the apartment I've been living in since Jan. The unit is on the ground floor in a boutique block of four on Auburn Road in Hawthorn, just a short (300m) walk from Auburn Station, situated between the bustling hubs of Glenferrie and Burke Roads. The complex is quiet and private, and has two parking spaces (1 available) per apartment. This is a private arrangement whereby the landlord owns the entire building and is regularly on site maintaining the gardens etc. The apartment is older, but very liveable and very well maintained. Its spacious, with a laundry, large kitchen, bathroom with separate toilet and large living area/dining room which a small balcony leads off. There is a gas heater in the living room (which heats the entire house!) and gas cooktop and stove in the kitchen. Well ventilated with lots of natural light, and stays quite cool in the summer months. The house is furnished with all of the modern essentials, including fridge, Miele washing machine and dryer, Nespresso machine and TV/DVD setup. The house is carpeted throughout, excl wet areas. A new microwave, couches and dining setting will be added in the coming months. The room is approx. 3.6 x 3.2 with 2 large built-in-robes and is set back from the main road so it’s nice and quiet. Large window which allows for lots of natural light. Option of fully or partially furnished if required. Rent is $175 a week ($700/month) paid directly to the landlord. Bond is $700. Bills are split 50/50. Wifi will be connected in the next month and there is the option for Pay TV which is currently not active but can be connected easily. Ideally I'm looking for a like minded guy or girl, who is friendly, clean and respectful. I'm a full time professional who is reasonably quiet during the week but social, has a great bunch of friends and enjoys a busy lifestyle. Short or long term considered at this stage, its moreso about finding the right person! A new lease will be negotiated in Dec as the current lease expire in Feb but is now being broken.
